A fun-filled Golf School Vacation in southern MichiganImprove your golf game and enjoy the many adventures that are available in southeast Michigan. Bring your family and friends. Do it all at a great price! THE GOLF INSTRUCTION We help you improve your skills! From basic set-up and golf swing improvement, to short game skills, ball striking, handling difficult lie situations, or maximizing your distance, we help you meet your improvement goals. There are golf instruction sessions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced (experienced) golfers. You can receive small group instruction that is consistent with your level of ability and your desired improvement goals. Sessions can be arranged specifically for family members or for a group of golfing friends. You receive up to 3-1/2 hours of instruction each morning that parallels your needs, and then, for most golfers, you play golf in the afternoon at a beautiful course that is consistent with your playing ability. Beginner golfers continue in the afternoon with up to 3 more hours of instruction. They play on the golf course on Day 4 of the instruction (or sooner based on their demonstrated ability level. See Beginner Schedule). Much of our golf instruction is filmed and you are provided with video that demonstrates specific shots and techniques. We provide very unique instruction that will help you become a better ball striker and a better short game player, and you will learn how to acquire more distance from each of your clubs. Advanced/experienced golfers participate in small group sessions and work at specific game improvement skills (see agenda outline). The golf courses that you will play are based on your ability level. Experienced and advanced golfers will be challenged by very competitive (higher slope value) golf courses that require strategic and shot-making skills.
Beginner or less experienced players will be on courses that have less difficulty (less hazardous and a lower slope value). We make certain that you are not placed on a golf course that is above your ability level.
Golf etiquette and speed of play are important. We help you enjoy your playing experience while you work at improving your shot making and scoring abilities. Specific playing rules apply. In the evening you are free to enjoy the many activities that are available in this beautiful area.
LOCATION AND OTHER ACTIVITIES We are very easy to reach by car or airplane and are located in a beautiful area of lakes, rivers, and woodlands in southeast Michigan, about 45 miles northwest of the Metropolitan Detroit Airport and about 80 miles north of the Ohio Border, near the intersection of US 23 and I-96. For golfers and non-golfers other area activities include water sports, biking, museums, food festivals, professional sporting activities, theater, casinos and nightlife, great shopping experiences, fine restaurants, and even more golf if desired! These activities are not included in the instruction package. Some are free and for others discounted pricing may be available.
