It gets the young or beginner golfer off to a great start. Here we show how much fun golf can be, as we start with the basic golf set-up (grip, stance, alignment, etc.), and the golf swing, and introduce some fun contests that the golfer can enjoy while learning.  The program includes online access to an excerpt of Chapter 1 of the book, "Playing Golf Instruction Manual".  After completion of this 2-lesson program, most young or beginner golfers can move up to the Intermediate Level 1 instruction program.

3. Four-Day Small Group Youth Golf School (I keep group size limited to a maximum of 6 students)

Intermediate Level 1

A maximum of only 6 students per group (minimum of 3 students). This program is a series of 4 lessons over 4 consecutive days. Each group lesson is approximately 2 hours in length. Focus is on improved golf swing skill, hitting a selected target area, and short game skill. The program includes online access to an excerpt of Chapter 1 of the book, "Playing Golf Instruction Manual". Student must meet specific golf knowledge and skill requirements in order to qualify for a certificate of achievement from this training program.

An optional 3 hole on the course group playing lesson may be available for an additional fee after completion of this program (cost depends on the number of participating students and the green fees charged by the course).

4. Four-Day Small Group Youth Golf School

Tentative Dates: To be determined

A maximum of only 6 students per group (minimum of 3 students).  This program is a series of 4 lessons on 4 consecutive days. Each group lesson is approximately 2 hours in length. Focus is on improved golf swing skill, improved distance, driving accuracy, and hitting a selected target area.  The program includes online access to an excerpt of Chapter 3 of the book, "Playing Golf Instruction Manual"., which discusses the proper golf set-up, the golf swing, and how to make proper contact with the golf ball so it gets up in the air and down the fairway. Student must meet specific skill requirements in order to qualify for a certificate of achievement from this Level 2 training program.

An optional 9 hole on the course group (or private) playing lesson may be available for an additional fee after completion of this program (cost depends on the number of participating students and the green fees charged by the course).

6. Private and semi-private Youth Golf Lessons

Private single youth lesson: $65/student (Range balls not included)
Semi-private youth lesson: $50/student (Range balls not included)

S
ome young students prefer learning without the presence of other students, or perhaps with only one other student. Other more experienced golf students need to work and concentrate on specific skill sets without disturbance from other students. They require the dedicated, full-time assistance from their instructor/coach.

The ability and skills of the student are evaluated, and the goals of the student are discussed with the student. Based on the ability level and the goals, a course of action is employed that will best lead the student toward meeting his or her goals.

7. Advanced / Experienced Youth Students Instruction Program

Some young students thoroughly enjoy golf and want to improve to a competitive level, perhaps to play in junior golf programs, or high school golf.

For such students a lesson program is designed specifically for them that provides focus on their most important needs. Lesson cost is dependent on your specific program and your lesson frequency.
